Here are the steps that are involved in sleep hypnosis. If you follow these sleep hypnosis steps, you will get the good nights sleep that you deserve.

Steps involved in Sleep Hypnosis

Since you can’t visit a hypnotist just before bedtime, why not buy a self-hypnosis track? In fact, you can create a self-hypnosis track for yourself.

1.  The first thing you need to do is to go into a state of deep relaxation. For this, take deep breaths and relax your mind and body. See to it that your muscles are relaxed and lose.

2. You can use a soft, soothing backing track such as water sounds, soft music, birds chirping and so on. Any sound that relaxes you can be used as the backing track.

3. After choosing the backing tack, start the countdown. For this, you can either use an elevator or steps. Every time you take a step or floor down, you will feel sleepy and your eyelids will start getting heavy. You will have to decide on the pacing of the steps by trial and error. Once you hit the right pace, you will be able to fall asleep by the time the countdown ends.

4. The backing music needs to fade away slowly, just as the words end. This is how it will help you fall asleep, as the track comes to an end.

5. Once your track is ready, play it on the MP3 player or CD player and hear it through earphones/speakers.

You need to remember one thing when you are following sleep hypnosis. Don’t keep worrying that you are not able to fall asleep, as it will make matters worse.
